How the job runs
Test the depth
If a fingernail catches, it is through the clear coat. If it does not, it polishes out. You see the test.
Decontaminate
Clay and an iron remover first, so the machine is cutting paint rather than grinding desert grit into it.
Cut and refine
A cutting stage to level the clear coat, then a refining stage to bring the gloss back up.
Protect
Freshly polished clear coat is bare. A sealant goes on the repaired area before your Patrol leaves.

What decides the price
How deep it goes. A scratch that a fingernail does not catch — which covers most of the brush marks a Patrol brings back from the desert — is in the clear coat and polishes out in an hour. Can desert pinstripes be removed without respraying?
Usually, yes. Scrub and branches mostly mark the clear coat, and a machine polish removes that completely. Anything through to primer or metal needs filling and painting, and we will show you which is which.
How much does Patrol scratch removal cost in Dubai?
