What decides the price
Whether the box is being serviced, repaired or rebuilt. A solenoid, a valve body or a fluid and filter service is at the low end. A torque converter is the middle. A full rebuild is decided by what the strip-down finds inside, and a Patrol that tows or spends its weekends in soft sand has usually worked its gearbox harder than the mileage suggests. That is the one job where an honest quote cannot come before the box is opened, so you are told what the strip-down costs before it starts.

How much does Patrol gearbox repair cost in Dubai?
A fluid and filter service is the smallest job, a solenoid pack or valve body sits well above it, and a full rebuild above that. A used or exchange box is sometimes cheaper than a rebuild — we quote all three so you can choose.
Can a slipping Patrol gearbox be repaired without a rebuild?
Often, yes. Slip that only appears when the fluid is hot usually points at pressure, not clutch material. We measure line pressure before recommending a strip.
How often should a Patrol's gearbox fluid be changed in the UAE?
