Aligning a Patrol with a worn control arm bush sets an angle that will not stay set.

What decides the price
How many components are actually worn, and which suspension your Patrol has. Bushes and drop links are consumables; arms, ball joints and shock absorbers are not, and the hydraulic body-motion-control system on upper Y62 trims is a different category again. A lifted Safari with aftermarket parts is priced on what is fitted to it rather than on the factory list. The alignment itself is fixed — it is the parts in front of it that move the total, which is why the inspection comes with the geometry reading attached.
Questions people ask first
Why does my Patrol knock over speed bumps?
On a Safari, usually a worn anti-roll bar link or a tired bush on the live axles. On a Y62 it is more often a lower arm bush or ball joint. Both make the Patrol feel much older than it is.
How often should a Patrol's suspension be checked in the UAE?
Annually, and after any desert trip that ended with a hard landing or a kerb strike. Heat ages rubber bushes faster here than the service schedule assumes.
What is HBMC, and can you repair it?
It is the hydraulic body-motion-control system on upper Y62 trims, which links the dampers to limit roll. A leak shows as extra lean or a low corner. We trace it and quote the failed part, not the whole system.
Is alignment included?
Any repair that changes a suspension angle includes the alignment. A standalone four-wheel alignment is quoted on its own and confirmed before you book.
