Tyres still soft from the sand and a worn tie rod both make an alignment meaningless. Both are checked before the rig runs.
Measure all four
Rear thrust angle is what makes a Patrol crab and it is invisible on a front-only alignment.
Adjust to spec
A Y62 is independent at every corner; a Safari runs solid axles and adjusts differently. Each is set to its own range, lifted or standard.

What decides the price
Whether anything has to be freed or replaced before the geometry can be set at all, and whether the Patrol is still at standard height. A seized adjuster or a worn bush has to be dealt with first — aligning a Patrol with a loose component is setting an angle that changes as soon as you drive away. Does my Patrol need an alignment after a lift kit or bigger tyres?
Yes. Raising the suspension changes caster and toe on any Patrol, and the steering wheel often ends up off-centre. If a part is bent we show you the measurement rather than adjusting around it.
What is the difference between alignment and balancing?
Alignment sets the angles the wheels sit at; balancing corrects weight distribution within one wheel. A vibration at 100 km/h is usually balance, often sand packed inside the rim; a pull is usually alignment.
